Individual therapy

We provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults (ages 16+) with a focus on serving BIPOC/South Asian communities. Our practice integrates traditional health practices with evidence-based approaches and has a deep understanding of the systemic, cultural, and intergenerational factors that shape mental health.

Therapy is culturally responsive and grounded in an anti-oppressive framework that acknowledges the impact of racism, marginalization, and cultural dislocation. Areas of focus include mood and anxiety disorders, identity development, racial trauma, life transitions, and relational stressors. Together, we work to build insight, emotional regulation, and empowerment in a space where your full identity is seen, heard, and respected.

Parent Training

Parenting in today’s world—especially while navigating multiple cultural values—can feel overwhelming. My parent training services are designed to support caregivers in developing effective, compassionate strategies grounded in authoritative parenting: an approach that emphasizes warmth, structure, and healthy boundaries. Together, we explore behavior management techniques, strengthen communication, and address common challenges such as emotional regulation, discipline, and limit-setting.

For BIPOC families and immigrant households, we also work to navigate value differences between home and external environments, helping caregivers maintain cultural integrity while supporting their children’s development in a complex, multicultural world. This space is nonjudgmental and collaborative, centering your unique experiences and strengths as a parent.

Consultations

We offer consultation services for organizations, providers, and teams seeking to deepen their cultural competence and develop inclusive, equity-centered practices. With specialized expertise in working with BIPOC populations, particularly South Asian communities, our consultations address the unique sociocultural, intergenerational, and systemic factors that impact mental health, identity development, and help-seeking behaviors. Services include case consultation, training for clinicians and educators, and workshops on fostering culturally inclusive environments. Topics may include decolonizing therapeutic practice, addressing racial trauma, navigating value conflicts, and building psychologically safe workplaces where diversity is affirmed and equity is actionable. All offerings are rooted in an anti-oppressive framework and are adapted to meet the needs of your specific team or setting.
