Hello, I’m Chandni Tithh. I’m glad you’ve found your way here.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, identity exploration, stress, and personal growth. I am passionate about supporting people in living more authentic, meaningful lives and creating space for healing at a pace that feels right for them.

From a young age, long before I even knew how to spell my own name, I found myself naturally drawn toward helping others. Over time, that instinct evolved into a deep commitment to counseling and to creating spaces where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped not only by my education and clinical training, but also by my lived experiences and the people I have encountered along the way.

Prior to becoming a counselor, I worked as a correctional officer, an experience that profoundly shaped how I understand pain, resilience, and humanity. It gave me firsthand insight into systemic barriers, emotional suppression, and how easily people can be defined by their worst moments rather than their full humanity. That experience continues to inform my belief that healing happens in spaces where people are met with compassion rather than judgment.

As a Punjabi Sikh Canadian woman now living in Illinois, I also understand the complexity of navigating multiple identities, cultural expectations, intergenerational dynamics, and mental health stigma. In 2024, I made the transition to Illinois, and while change was not always easy, it deepened my understanding of uncertainty, growth, and starting over. These experiences allow me to approach therapy with cultural humility, openness, and an awareness of how our intersecting identities shape the way we move through the world.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, as I believe therapy should be tailored to each person rather than one-size-fits-all. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, attachment-based perspectives, and humanistic approaches. Above all, I strive to create a space that feels warm, collaborative, and safe, where you can show up without needing to filter who you are.

At the core of my work is the belief that people deserve to be met with compassion, especially in a world that can feel overwhelming. My hope is to support clients in feeling grounded, empowered, and open to the possibility of change.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, enjoying the simple moments with my partner, listening to music, connecting with spirituality, being around animals, and occasionally getting lost in a doom-scroll like the rest of us.
