It can be difficult for clinicians to navigate other populations’ unique identities, values, and experiences, which is why we offer consultations to other professionals.
Our consultation centers on building greater awareness on common cultural stigmas surrounding mental health addressing them with clients sensitivity. We provide culturally- informed support for clients with a South Asian background.
We aim to deepen understanding of South Asian cultural values, family dynamics, and community expectations, especially around intergenerational conflicts and differing expectations between parents and children.
