Hello, I'm Chandni Tithh. I'm glad you've found your way here.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.
As a Punjabi Sikh Canadian woman now living in Illinois, I understand how complicated it can feel to navigate different cultural expectations, identities, and life transitions. Sometimes we're trying to figure out who we are while also making sense of who we're expected to be.
I bring cultural humility, empathy, and genuine curiosity into my work because I believe your background, experiences, and relationships all deserve to be understood.
Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a correctional officer, where I had the opportunity to support people through some of life's most difficult moments. That experience deepened my understanding of resilience and reinforced something I continue to believe strongly: people are so much more than their struggles, and everyone deserves compassion rather than judgment.
I'm passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Clients often tell me they can feel how much I genuinely care, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people through their journeys.
What therapy with me feels like
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
My style is eclectic, meaning I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on your experiences, needs, and goals. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, attachment-based perspectives, and humanistic approaches.
But beyond the specific techniques, what matters most to me is the relationship we build.
I want therapy to feel warm, supportive, and authentic. A place where you can show up as your full self, talk about what's actually going on, and know you won't be judged for it.
We'll work collaboratively to better understand your experiences, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you, and build on the strengths you already have.
Sometimes that means exploring how your thoughts influence your emotions. Other times, we might look at relationship patterns, cultural expectations, or the stories you've come to believe about yourself.
My hope is that our work helps you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to what matters most to you.
The things we can work through
I work with individuals experiencing a variety of challenges, particularly those related to identity, relationships, self-worth, and life transitions.
Some of the areas I'm passionate about supporting include:
Anxiety, stress, and feeling overwhelmed
Self-esteem, self-worth, and confidence
Relationship concerns and interpersonal challenges
Identity exploration and cultural expectations
Life transitions and major changes
Building self-compassion and understanding yourself
Recognizing personal strengths and developing greater confidence
Adolescents and young adults hold a special place in my heart.
Figuring out who you are, where you're going, and how you fit into the world can be exciting, confusing, and overwhelming, sometimes all at once.
I enjoy supporting people through those transitions, helping them explore their identities, understand their experiences, and recognize the strengths they already possess.
You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can make sense of things together.
Outside the therapy room
When I'm not working, you'll probably find me at the gym, trying a new recipe, spending time with my partner, or finding absolutely any excuse to be around animals.
I also value spirituality and the little everyday moments that help me slow down, reconnect with myself, and recharge.
And, like most people, I'm occasionally (okay, maybe more than occasionally) guilty of losing way too much time to a good doom-scroll.
Balance is a work in progress!
Finding the right therapist is personal.
You deserve a space where you can bring your whole self- your experiences, your identities, your questions, and everything in between.
At Mun & Mind Therapy, we believe the relationship you build with your therapist matters. Whether you're ready to get started or still figuring out what support might look like, we'd love to help you find a good fit.
